Instead of deleting an organization, you can archive it. This has the advantage that the organization is inactive, but you can still access the data and reactivate it if necessary. Select Settings under your organization in the menu bar. You can archive the organization in the Organization Details tab under Archive Organization.
Now no one can access the organization or process payments. You can reactivate the organization in your personal settings by clicking the undo icon and selecting Restore.
