You can split the total amount of your payment in two ways: either across different payment methods or through multiple transfers from different bank accounts. This is particularly useful for large sums, as it often does not require any adjustment of the transfer limit. This allows you and your seller to keep track of partial payments made. With bezahl.de, the purchase price can be handled flexibly and conveniently.
You can split the total amount of your payment in two different ways.
Firstly, you can split the purchase price between different payment methods.
Example: For a total amount of £10,000, you pay £5,000 in advance by traditional bank transfer and the remaining £5,000 using another payment method, e.g. direct payment.
This is how splitting between different payment methods works:
- Select the desired payment method in your payment details. If you select ‘direct payment’, you will find the ‘Split amount’ button below the amount to be paid.
- Now enter the partial amount you wish to pay with this payment method and confirm it. The partial amount will then be paid (e.g. via direct payment).
You can then select another payment method for the remaining balance and complete the payment.
Another option is to make several transfers from different bank accounts. Once you have initiated the payment, click on the ‘I have transferred the amount’ button to inform your seller that you have used the classic transfer method.
Tip: This allows you and your seller to keep track of the partial payments made. Depending on the amount of the partial payment, it is often not necessary to adjust the transfer limit.
