What are tags and how do i use them?

"Tags" are a type of label, tag, or marker element. Using a tag, you can add additional information, specifications, or categories to a payment. In bezahl.de, you create tags by accessing a payment and using the tag function. Tags make it easier to filter and organize payments, as they appear in lists and CSV exports. This allows you to quickly find payments based on specific criteria, e.g., "used car." Tags are only visible internally (not to buyers) and can be set and edited by admins, editors, and creators. Admins can customize colors and labels or manage and delete tags in the organization settings.

What are tags and how do I use them in bezahl.de?

For example, payments can be tagged with the tags "new car" and "used car." This makes it easy to distinguish between new and used cars.

How do I create tags?

To do this, you access a created payment. On the right side, you'll find the Tags element.

Tags are initially assigned a random color when created. This color can be adjusted in the organization settings (see below). To remove tags from a payment, simply click the small close X. Removing a tag from a payment doesn't completely delete it. You can reassign the tag to that payment or to another payment.

Tags as a filter function

Tags are displayed in a new column in lists and in CSV exports.

You can also use the filter function to filter by tag to find payments more quickly. For example, if you filter by the tag "Used Car," only payments with the "Used Car" tag will be displayed.

Who sees tags? Who can edit them?

Tags are visible only to users within the organization and not to buyers. Tags can be set by users in the Admin, Editor, and Creator roles. Viewers cannot set tags.

Manage Tags

Administrators can edit the tags they have set in the organization settings under "Manage Individual Tags." They can customize the tag's label and color. They can also delete tags here. Deleting a tag will also remove it from payments, if it has been set for them.
